Fishing in the French PyreneesThe trout fishing opportunities in the Ariège are among the best in Southwest France, and very diverse. At the doorstep of our Hotel - guesthouse you can try your luck in small mountain streams, fast flowing rivers or in mountain lakes. You can catch both brown & rainbow trout. You can request a permit for 2 weeks fishing whilst here, valid from the 1st of June to the 30th of September. This permit allows you to fish in the Salat and her tributary rivers, and the other rivers in other parts of the Ariège. Make sure you take a passport photo with you, as you will need this to get a permit. .  |
